A dedicated steward of horticulture whose recent research includes canopy management, crop malformation and climate change and its impact on horticulture. She previously spent three years researching various aspects of high-density plantation of guava including spacing, pruning intensity and leaf to fruit ratio in Indian tropics and sub-tropics. Shivangi has a Ph.D. Horticulture Science, M.Sc. in Horticulture and Fruit Science and B.Sc. in Agriculture Science.

Roles and responsibilities
Image sourcing and analyzing for various plant diseases and pests. Regular data collection and maintenance for the ongoing controlled environment experiments. Planning and sowing of seeds in advance for upcoming experiments. Maintain an inventory of input supplies and equipment in the lab. Supervise the daily lab activities.
Candidate must possess a good knowledge of disease and pest identification of agricultural crops like leafy greens, herbs, fruits and vegetable crops. A brief work experience under controlled conditions of an indoor farm or greenhouse is desirable.
Bachelors's in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized university.
Good communication skills.
