Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who owns the farm equipment?

AGEYE owns, maintains, and operates all equipment — including the HYVE growing systems, sensors, automation, and software. You don't purchase or maintain any farming infrastructure.

What's the minimum space required?

We can work with spaces as small as 500 sq ft for a micro-deployment, though typical installations range from 1,000–5,000+ sq ft depending on your production targets and available footprint.

What utilities are needed?

Standard electrical service (208/480V three-phase preferred), water supply, and drainage. AGEYE handles all specialized HVAC, lighting, and irrigation as part of the buildout.

How is pricing structured?

You enter a multi-year produce supply agreement with predictable, volume-based pricing. There's no upfront capital investment — AGEYE covers all design, construction, and equipment costs.

What happens if the farm underperforms?

AGEYE guarantees production volumes outlined in your agreement. Our AI-driven monitoring and on-site operations team ensure consistent output. If yields fall short, we make it right.

Why not just buy from a local farm or distributor?

Traditional supply chains introduce 7–14 days of transit, handling, and storage. With an onsite AGEYE farm, produce is harvested and served the same day — maximizing freshness, shelf life, and flavor while eliminating logistics complexity and reducing waste.

How long does installation take?

From site evaluation to first harvest, typical timeline is 8–16 weeks depending on the scale of the installation and permitting requirements at your location.
