Job Description

Are you an experienced data scientist looking to make a global impact while also working with bleeding edge technology? At AgEye Technologies, you'll be working with a talented team of technologist that have a passion for digital agriculture, artificial intelligence and creating a sustainable food supply for the growing global population.


  • Extensive experience with deep learning convolutional neural networks that can be deployed and run on edge devices.
  • Develop novel, accurate computer vision algorithms and advanced systems with a focus on real-time object tracking, SLAM, sensor fusion, visual odometry, camera calibration and 3D reconstruction.
  • Apply machine learning to traditional computer vision problems.
  • Conceive proof-of-concept prototypes that establish overall system performance.
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various deployed systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and plant science team members from prototyping through production to advance the entire project.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS / MS in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics or related technical field.
  • 3+ years' experience developing real-time computer vision software in C++, including algorithm design and systems software development.
  • Experience with machine learning, CNNS, information theory and/or 3D geometry.
  • Knowledge of applied mathematics and numerical optimization.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following: Tensorflow, TensorRT, Keras, PyTorch, and MATLAB.
  • Prototyping experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics or related technical field.
  • 3+ years' experience with real-time object tracking, SLAM, sensor fusion, real-time image processing, etc.
  • Experience training deep convolutional and/or recurrent neural networks.
  • Experience with CPU/GPU optimization.

Job Description

We are looking for a robotic software engineer to design, implement, and test novel automation hardware for controlled environment agriculture. You will work on time-sensitive and distributed architecture that will better enable automatous farming operations.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be working on:

  • Internal decision-making logic of the robotic actuation systems that are performing plant-level actions.
  • Improving computational efficiency and accuracy of the systems.
Beyond this set of responsibilities, you will be exposed to a broad variety of other challenges as they arise and you will need to discuss, brainstorm and work closely with hardware engineers, AI engineers and system engineers.


We get excited about self-starter and hard-working candidates who have:


  • A BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • 3+ years of practical experience in writing robust, production-ready, clearly-written, reusable, and well-tested code.
  • Strong Experience with ROS.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++, strong background in object-oriented programming, multithreading and system architecture in Linux environment.
  • A working knowledge of standard software engineering practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, version control (Git), build processes, and testing.
  • Skills in algorithm development and optimization.


  • Experience with real-time operating systems, interrupts, and schedulers.
  • Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with various sensing technologies and tradeoffs (LiDAR, vision, etc).
  • Industrial automation experience shipping safety-critical software.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional individual who can execute and lead embedded design projects. If you believe you are punching above your weight in your current role and meet the qualifications below, you are the kind of person we are looking for.


  • Work with our existing team of hardware and embedded engineers to deliver advanced AI/IOT agriculture solutions, including work on low level peripheral driver development that leverages any low-end to high-end micro controllers varying from RN4870, RN4020, ESP32, ESP8266, 8051 to MSP430 to ARM to DSPs.
  • Drive Iterative Scoping and Definition, System Design, Coding development in Embedded C or assemble, Board Bring-Up and Validation of Assembled Boards and iterative support of those customers.
  • Provide the technical insights to the team for their training and development and to solve issues that arise in our customer engagements globally with the goal of ensuring customer delight.
  • Prepare or review electrical schematics for boards involving microcontrollers/processors.


  • Bachelors engineering degree or higher in a relevant discipline (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics).
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with embedded C firmware development for any microcontroller.
  • Good understanding on architecture of MCUS and peripherals.
  • Experience with memory, power, speed optimized applications.
  • Experience with peripheral driver development with bare metal coding for Microcontroller/processor.
  • Ability to create thorough test cases for complex embedded applications.
  • Experience on static and dynamic analysis of the firmware code is desirable.
  • Hands on experience debugging communication protocols using instruments/analyzers.
  • Strong understanding of compiler, linker, and development tools like code composer/cross composer/MP Lab, etc.
  • Attitude of thoroughness in requirement gathering, design and validation of the design with strong pride in delivering well thought out and rigorously tested solutions.
  • Ability to forecast technical risk for a project or engagement.
  • Good communication skills with a track record of making impactful and effective design presentations is desired.
  • Experience with RTOS, interface libraries USB drivers are additional plus.
  • Good programming ability and competence in any middle or high level programming language such as C++, Python, Visual Studio, LabVIEW etc will be considered a plus.
