RALEIGH, NC – March 2, 2020 – AGEYE Technologies, provider of AI-powered IoT sensors and predictive analytics for indoor farming, announced today that its indoor farming platform is now available as a private beta to select commercial growers.

The AGEYE platform is a combination of hardware, software and edge deployed AI models – designed to work seamlessly together to reduce labor dependency and operational costs of indoor farms. The company says that it already has multiple large-scale growers signed up from the Netherlands, Spain, Israel and the United States.

“We are extremely excited to get our technology into the hands of commercial growers” said Dr. Shivangi Arvind, Chief Science Officer of AGEYE. “After spending the last three years building a platform that is focused on meeting the biggest operational challenge of the indoor farming industry, we have carved out a holistic solution that indoor growers have been longing for. Given the fact that such technology was completely missing from the current indoor agtech landscape till now, this beta opportunity will offer a whole new experience for the growers to understand the nuances of smart and intelligent technology. Times, like today, have proven how desperately we need a solution like this to ensure food security and human safety.”

Growers enrolled in the private beta will complete at least two full harvest cycles for a variety of leafy greens and micro herbs planted in an indoor vertical setting. The user will be able to avail all vital crop related information and confirmation of its well-being, on a daily basis, without having to actually be in the farm.
