HYVE® & AGEYE® Announce First Joint Project on Heels of Strategic Partnership Announcement

(Verona, Virginia February 27, 2023) HYVE Indoor Farming Systems, a solutions-based, manufacturer of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) systems and AGEYE a leader in automated platform monitoring for vertical farms and greenhouses today announced their first joint indoor vertical farming project since their announced strategic partnership of February 15th.

The project will be an indoor farm in Nebraska slated to begin immediately. The scope of the project will be a 13,000 square foot grow facility that is slated to focus primarily on leafy greens.

According to Ron Acorn, President of HYVE, “We are excited to continue our expansion with a new installation that incorporates the artificial intelligence system developed by AGEYE. While we have initiated several projects in the U.S. and Canada in the last few months and have extensively tested and worked with AGEYE on a project in North Carolina, this will be the first complete and comprehensive project we have worked on together since announcing our alliance.”

Nick Genty, Co-Founder and CEO of AGEYE adds: “We’re very excited to integrate our farm management and crop intelligence platform into this HYVE installation and are pleased that the opportunity has presented so soon after our announcement. Having already worked together with HYVE we feel comfortable that our system complements and enhances the HYVE system and will offer the grower unmatched automation, monitoring, and the very latest in a complete turn-key system.”

Acorn further states: “We continue to look for ways to enhance value for users of our systems. We have held as our core principle to be the most complete and scalable system in the market for mid and larger-scale commercial indoor farmers. This installation and incorporation of the AGEYE software and monitoring system is a major step in helping us to move further forward in that direction. This will be a win for HYVE and AGEYE, but most importantly, a major win for the commercial grower.”

HYVE will be exhibiting at Indoor Ag-Con in booth 619. AGEYE Technologies is a platinum partner of Indoor AgCon and Nick Genty will serve as a moderator for a discussion on “Avoiding Nutrient Imbalances” the second day of the show.
