In an indoor farm, equipment failure is crop failure. A dosing pump that quits on a Friday night does not cost you a pump. It costs you the room. And the maintenance that would have caught it is usually a laminated sheet nobody has looked at since the install.
Every asset is registered — pumps, lights, HVAC, dosing hardware, sensors, the seeder — with where it sits and what has been done to it. Preventive maintenance runs on a schedule, and when it comes due it becomes a work order: assigned, done, closed, and kept against the asset it was raised on.
We are not going to tell you we predict your pump failures from three months of your data. We are going to tell you when it was last serviced, what it has cost you, and that the PM is due on Tuesday. That is the thing that actually prevents most failures.

Does it predict failures?
No, and we will not claim it does. It runs preventive maintenance on a schedule and keeps the service history. A vendor promising to predict your pump failures from a few months of your data is selling you a demo, not a system.
What counts as an asset?
Anything you would mind losing: pumps, lights, HVAC, dosing hardware, sensors, robots, the seeder. Each one carries its location, its schedule and its history.
Does maintenance work compete with production work?
It does, and that is exactly why it lives in the same place. Work orders sit alongside the tasks generated by the production plan, so PM is drawing on the same hours as everything else instead of being invisible until it is late.
