On most vertical farms the robots are a second system. Their own controller, their own screen, their own person who knows how to work it — and none of what they see ever reaches the software that runs the farm.
Here they are part of it. Elevators and imaging robots are driven from the platform, and the scans they take land directly in Crop Health and Crop Growth rather than in a folder somebody has to go and process. Cameras stream live, so you can look at any zone in the room from wherever you happen to be, which is usually not the room.
And the part that never makes it into a brochure: actuators fail safe. On a stop, on a fault, on a power loss, the machine goes to a safe state. A robot that keeps moving after the software goes away is not autonomy. It is a liability.

The things people actually ask.
Are the robots autonomous?
They run the imaging routes the platform gives them. They are not making decisions about your crop, and nothing they see changes anything on the farm without a person approving it.
What happens on a power loss?
Actuators go to a safe state. That behavior is enforced at the machine, not by a cloud service promising to stay up.
Does the platform work without AGEYE robots?
Yes — everything except per-plant imaging, which needs something walking the racks with a camera. The rest of Digital Cultivation runs on any farm, with our hardware or without it.
